Kindergarten
Have a student starting kindergarten in August? We are excited for you to join the Dubuque Community School District!
How to Get Started
Complete the following if you have NOT completed a Kindergarten Enrollment Form or attended a kindergarten welcome session.
1 | COMPLETE THE KINDERGARTEN ENROLLMENT FORM |
2020-2021 Kindergarten Student Enrollment Form (PDF)
2 | RETURN COMPLETED FORM TO YOUR HOME SCHOOL |
Not sure of your home school? Find out online at www.dbqschools.org/find-your-school. Even if you wish to apply for open enrollment, you should start the process at your home school.
3 | PLAN TO ATTEND THE DISTRICT-WIDE WELCOME EVENT AT YOUR HOME SCHOOL |
Once you complete and return the enrollment form, you will receive a follow-up mailing with everything you need for the next steps in the process. Your follow-up mailing will also include details about the new district-wide Kindergarten Welcome Event, if enrollment form is received before the event. |
For Your Information
- If your child requires medication to be administered at school, the Request for Medication to be Given at School Form is available in your school’s nurses office.
When do you actually register?
You will receive a registration packet from the district in late summer with instructions on how to officially register through the district’s online student information system.
