Winter track club includes 4 practices on Sunday evenings (January 25 - February 15) and participation in track meet on Saturday, February 21. This is a great opportunity for students to be active during the winter months and learn about or further develop their skills.

The Iowa Reading Research Center (IRRC) invites parents and caregivers of K-6 students to complete a brief online survey. Survey results will help the IRRC understand and create resources related to parent/caregiver understanding and perceptions of literacy assessments and related supports.

The University of Iowa is hosting its annual Alumni and Friends Flash Writing Contest—a timed, online short story competition. We’ll provide you with a writing prompt that includes a genre, character, and a specific object to incorporate into your story. You’ll have 48 hours and up to 1,000 words.
