Make your decor extra spooky this month with a fun DIY spiderweb wreath. Supplies will be provided and you will leave with a completed wreath. Registration is required for this 2 hour program.

Visit the library to spend some time with your favorite adult–mom, dad, auntie, cousin, whoever–and make cool art, eat snacks, and learn something new. Registration is required for all participants. This month's activity is Haunted Mini Terrariums.

Duhawk Dunkers hosted by the Loras College men's basketball team, is an engaging experience designed to inspire young athletes ages 4-14. This co-ed camp provides a unique opportunity for boys and girls of all skill levels to develop their basketball abilities and foster a love for the game.

This running class is geared toward training for the annual Turkey Trot at Wahlert High School on Thanksgiving morning, AND OFFERED TO ALL INTERESTED FAMILY MEMBERS, ESPECIALLY PARENTS WHO USUALLY RUN THIS WITH THEIR CHILDREN AT THE TURKEY TROT. We will meet at Wahlert in the parking lot.

October is Adopt a Shelter Dog Month! Stop by the library to meet some adoptable animals and enjoy hands-on activities for the whole family. This event is free and open to the public; please consider donating an item or two to the Dubuque Regional Humane Society to support animals in need.

Mix up some witchy potions, spooky slime, and other ooey-gooey concoctions just in time for Halloween. Registration is required.

Shine like the sun and make a difference at your library and in the community through art! Participants will work on a variety of volunteering projects while providing feedback on making the library a welcoming place for teens.

Join the Dubuque Learn to Skate program for our next six-week session of ice skating classes at the Dubuque ice arena. Come watch your skater build confidence, discipline, and courage as they glide through the levels with our professionally accredited program. All skaters ages 3 an up are welcome.

Calling all LEGO® fans! Come to the library to build, create, and have fun. The library provides the LEGOs®, and you provide the know-how! Donations of LEGOs® are appreciated. LEGO® creations will be exhibited in the library. The program will be held in the Aigler Auditorium on the 3rd floor.

Dubuque Youth Hockey has a range of programs for all ages! We start as young as 4-year-old Little Saints, all the way up through high school.

This homework program is designed to provide a space for teens to get needed help on homework and build their studying and organizational skills for free.

All of our teen programming is free. We offer homework help to grades 6-12 on Mondays-Thursdays. High school hangout is on Tues and Thurs, high school teen nights are on Thursdays with dinner provided. Middleschool hangout is on Mon and Wed, middle school teen nights are on Wednesdays with dinner
