Clarke University is thrilled to host some of your favorite long-standing summer activities and introduce a few new ones for 2024! Programs cover a wide range of ages and interests, each proudly led by Clarke faculty with the help of area professionals and alumni.

The UDWBB Skills Camp is focused on improving individual skills, developing a love for the game of basketball & is designed to give athletes the tools to become better basketball players & teammates within a competitive and fun environment. Camp will be coached by UDWBB players & coaches!

Join us for an exciting week of YogART Camp, where yoga + art = SUPERKIDS! This camp combines the creative, calming practices of yoga and art into one amazing event. Kids ages 6-11 will tap into their inner courage and creativity while discovering how to positively impact the world. M-Th 10am-2pm

The Loras Tennis Summer Skills Camp will teach fundamentals to young beginners of the game. Session 1: June 10-13| Session 2: July 22-25| Session 3: July 29-August 1| Session 4: August 5-8 Cost per session is $150. $25 discount for siblings signed up same week.

Hang out with other trainers and Read, Trade, Learn, Create, and Play all things Pokémon. Trading Card Game, Nintendo DS, and Pokémon Go gamers are welcome. Registration Recommended.

Tuesdays at the library all summer long will have fun activities and workshops in drawing, painting, sculpting, writing, and more. Registration is required for each program. Participants are eligible to enter for a special art-themed prize pack.

REGISTER NOW for summer camp at Ewalu Camp & Retreat Center! Programs for grades 1-12 & special needs As an accredited Lutheran-Christian outdoor ministry, Ewalu offers a variety of programs all summer for youth, guided by trained counselors. No child is turned away for reasons of financial need.

Come learn to sew on a sewing machine! You will create projects perfect for beginners; No previous sewing experience necessary. Registration is required.

Read or listen to a story with some furry friends in the first-floor Program Room. Do not bring your own pet; we provide kid-friendly dogs each month. Registration not required.

Grab your kiddos and head to the library for a morning of moving and grooving! We will listen to songs and stories, play with scarves and shakers, and have so much silly fun together. Best for ages 2 through 6, though all are welcome to attend.

Registration for the Fall Ball Baseball season is open now through August 12 at dbqpony.org. The fall season is four weeks of games in September. Games are Saturday afternoons for 8U, 10U, and 12U divisions. Our 14U division games are on Tuesday evenings. See the Available Programs page for details.

Each month, participants will play a different game with other Roblox enthusiasts and tackle fun challenges together. *If you have never played Roblox before, you will need to have your parent/guardian set up your account before the program. Registration is required.

Calling all LEGO® fans! Come to the library to build, create, and have fun. The library provides the LEGOs®, and you provide the know-how! Donations of LEGOs® are appreciated. Creations will be exhibited in the library. The program will be held in the Aigler Auditorium on the 3rd floor.

A StoryWalk® is an outdoor reading experience that displays pages of a book along a path or trail; it combines the joy of reading with all the benefits of being active outside. Each StoryWalk® location will feature a new story each month-the 22nd Street Bee Branch Greenway and the Dubuque Arboretum.

We are looking for young ladies in grades 1-2 of the school year 2024-2025 to play on basketball teams. Currently we have over 80 young ladies in our Lady Stang's Youth Basketball Program in grades 3-8.
