Visit the James Kennedy Public Library's Antique Children's Book Sale in Dyersville to buy children's picture books from the 1960s through the late 1990s. Funds raised benefit the children's play area.

Registration for the 2026 baseball season is now open at dbqpony.org! Registration deadlines are February 23 for 14U division; March 16 for 12U, 10U, 8U; and April 13 for 6U Tee Ball. All kids in the tri-state area ages 4-14 are eligible to participate. Baseball season will be April through June.

Do you enjoy watching movies? Come to the library each month to enjoy a movie based on a book! Wear your pajamas, bring your favorite blankets, pillows, and stuffed friends, and enjoy some popcorn! You are welcome to bring your own covered drinks. Parents are encouraged to attend with your children!

A StoryWalk is a fun, educational, activity that places the pages of a book along a popular walking route. StoryWalk combines the joy of reading with all the benefits of being active outside. Located at the 22nd Street Bee Branch Greenway and at the Dubuque Arboretum.

Camp Bear Creek is a Christian summer camp located in Jones County, Iowa. We have summer camp programs for kids in kindergarten through 12th grade! Campers will get to experience a variety of activities like archery, kayaking, climbing tower, zip lines, hiking, crafts, Bible study, worship, swimming
